Grapefruits, grapefruits and grapefruits are staples in the fruit bin. This juicy fruit can be used for many household cleaning tasks. A clean kitchen will be the first place you associate citrus scents with.

1. All-Purpose All-Star

You can make your own all-purpose citrus cleaner using grapefruit, lemon, lime, and/or lime peels. Fill one to two quart-sized canning jars with citrus peels. Next, add white vinegar to the jars and close them. Allow the mixture to sit for 2 to 3 weeks. Then shake it every day. The cleaner will be more powerful the longer it sits. After a few weeks, drain the vinegar and put it in a spray bottle. You can use the vinegar on countertops, stoves or bathtubs.

2.New Steps

Mix 3 teaspoons grated lemon zest, 2 cups baking soda and 1 cup borax together in a bowl to make your own carpet cleaner. Mix well and allow to sit for at least 30 minutes. Keep the mixture in a glass container until you are ready to use it. Then, pull out the container and sprinkle dirt on your carpets. After each use, let it sit for a while to absorb any odors or dirt. Then vacuum up.

3. Easy-Peasy

The secret ingredient to the best microwave cleaning is lemons. You can simply slice a few lemons and place them in a bowl with enough water to make a microwaveable meal. All you have to do is wipe it with a clean cloth.
